PlaybackIT provides a platform for generating and reviewing play-by-play analyses. The software allows users to create unique headings and descriptors to characterize and tag portions of video.

Once the media is uploaded, it can then be reviewed from any of the coach's accepted accounts. Each user can then alter the data by simply dragging and dropping characterization boxes to obtain a results output that is customized for his or her interests. For example, a user can manipulate the data to generate results, which summarizes the tendencies of only the players he or she confronts on the field for a specific game situation. The user can then choose to view video from that specific play and the comments behind it.

The customization of the results allows users to concentrate their analysis on the most important and most relevant portions of video allowing for quicker and more effective analysis.
